The delivering of files
The maxim at the
printing is "garbage in is garbage out". This means that when a file From which
one is printing, is not good, never a good print result will be achieved. The
prints will then be less clear and the colors will be dim.
Information carrier
Files can be delivered on zip and CD in the CMYK or RGB-color spectrum.
File size
A guideline is that per square meter of the desired final product, the file
should
contain 40 Mb information so that a good printing quality can be
guaranteed.
Example: you would like to have a poster printed of 60 x 90 em.
The size of the file then will be 90.6 x 0.9) X 40 Mb = 21.6 Mb
For billboards the guideline is 20 Mb per square meter desired final product.
Example: you would like to have a billboard-print produced of 5 m X 3 m.
The
necessary file size will be (5 X 3) X 20 Mb = 300 Mb
File format
Files which only contain visual material can only be delivered in the .tiff
format. Files that contain computer drawings or computer texts should be
delivered in the .eps format.
Color-matching
Inspire approaches the desired color as good as possible. Deliver an example
with the desired colors at every assignment. When you deliver the file as .psd
file, which consists out of layers, Inspire can do color corrections per layer
what
will enable a print with a better color rendering.
